Cyberpunk 2077 puts you in the role of V, a mercenary who's fighting for their life after they get tangled with a lot of powerful characters from Night City's underworld. In a place as colorful and vile as this, you'll never guess where your adventures will take you next

The Psycho Killer quest will make you travel around Night City to help the powerless victims of Cyberpsychosis, a condition that can be acquired after using too many cyber implants. However, you'll have to fight them all to help them, and they can certainly hit hard.

How To Start Psycho Killer

During the first act of the game, the fixer Regina Jones will call you to discuss several victims of cyberpsychosis that she needs to cure. Your job here is not to kill them but to incapacitate them, so Regina and her team can attend to them and give them an experimental treatment to help them fend off their condition.

Some of the gigs will be available after the main story mission 'The Rescue', but most will be available later in the second act of the game's main story, with all of them being available after you complete the 'Transmission' quest.

After each and every single one of the cyberpsycho-related gigs, make sure to examine the local area and find relevant shards, as the gigs will require you to search for some kind of evidence to successfully conclude them.

Cyberpsycho Quests During Act 1

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Demons Of War

You will likely encounter this victim of cyberpsychosis early on, under the highway on the north side of Kabuki, in the Watson district. Once you arrive, you'll hear gunshots as the cyberpsycho Matt Liaw fights several NCPD agents.

The fight will be pretty quick, but you must be prepared, as he has a powerful shotgun that will empty your HP in no time if you're not careful.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Six Feet Under

To find the northernmost cyberpsycho in Night City, you can follow the train tracks near the highway in Northside, Watson.

Lely Hein will use a powerful shotgun that can take you out, but you can easily take him down with a stealth attack if you hide and sneak up on him; otherwise, the fight might drag on for too long.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Lt. Mower

NCPD Lieutenant Mower will be waiting underneath a highway on the West side of Kabuki, Watson, in a building surrounded by Militech vehicles. This cyberpsycho likes to disappear with stealth camo and uses Gorilla Arms cyberware, so be sure that she can pack a punch.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Where The Bodies Hit The Floor

In an alleyway to the southwest of Northside, Watson, you will find Elias Carter, a cyberpsycho who just committed several murders. Keep in mind that this foe will be able to move very fast and dodge bullets, so you should fight with melee weapons instead, or your fists if you feel lucky.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Ticket To The Major Leagues

This cyberpsycho can be found to the West of Little China, Watson, near the bridge that leads to the city center.

Alec Johnson will use Gorilla Arms that add a huge buff to melee damage, and as a result, you should keep a distance at all times and use your most powerful weapons.

Cyberpsycho Quests During Act 2

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Letter Of The Law

Gaston Phillips can be found in the southwestern part of Wellsprings, Heywood. This cyberpsycho has surrounded an area with landmines, so be careful and sneak around until you can defuse them all before fighting him.

The fight itself isn't that difficult once you've taken care of all the landmines, but he will use a powerful SMG, so you should still keep your eyes open once the combat begins.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Seaside Cafe

The cyberpsycho Dao Hyunh is located to the south of Wellsprings, Heywood. The best way to take her down is with an ambush and a bombardment from your most powerful weapon, as she's incredibly fast, and might be difficult to keep track of her until it's too late.

After the fight you'll need to find two shards nearby, which will explain what went wrong, thus ending the quest.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Discount Doc

This fight takes place in a construction site to the south of Rancho Colorado, Santo Domingo, and you'll quickly find Chase Coley fighting a guard as you arrive. While the fight will last a few seconds, the guard will quickly die, and Chase will divert his attention at you.

This cyberpsycho will be able to tank a lot of health because of the mecha suit, so be patient while chipping his HP down, and try to move as much as you can to avoid his massive weapon.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Under The Bridge

The next Cyberpsycho will be hiding in a homeless camp underneath a highway on the West side of Arroyo, Santo Domingo.

Tamara Cosby will use her netrunner abilities to control two turrets that might quickly take you down, so you should go and make contact with her as soon as possible, to break her loading process before she can trigger her tricks.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Smoke On The Water

You will find this enemy at the deepest end of the northern pier of Coastview, Pacifica. Diego Ramirez will be waiting for you at the end of the pier, and even though you can just go and fight him and his shotgun, there's also a van on the shore underneath the pier that will provide more context regarding this enemy.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Lex Talionis

Keep in mind that this gig will not be available to fight until you have completed the 'Transmission' quest. Once you have completed it, you will be able to find this psycho in the south part of the eastern pier in Coastview, Pacifica.

Ben Debaillon will have prepared a bunch of drones and androids to meet you, so you will have to dispatch them all before meeting him. Once you're done with them, he won't be difficult to defeat, and he'll only use a pistol.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Bloody Ritual

This one takes place in the western part of Northside, Watson. You must investigate the creepy murder scene until Zaria Hughes shows up, and once you do, she'll quickly move through the area until she decides to take a bath on the small fridge in the middle of the gruesome ritual.

The fight will begin, and she will use Quickhacks to attack you until you make your first move, then start running around and hitting you with her Mantis Blades. Come well prepared for this fight, or you won't be able to defeat her without killing her.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: The Wasteland

This Cyberpsycho will be located deep within the Badlands, to the east of the dumpster where Dexter Deshawn gets murdered by Takemura. To find the right place, you must enter the Badlands in a vehicle, take your first right turn, and then take a left.

You'll come across what initially seems like a car crash, but as you investigate the area with your scanner you'll uncover a blood trail. This will lead you to Euralio Alma, a cyberpsycho piloting a mecha suit who's going to be waiting near some abandoned trailers.

Like some other similar encounters with enemies who use this kind of armored suit, you will find a weak point in the back that you can exploit to defeat it successfully.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Second Chances

Similar to the last cyberpsycho, you will find an abandoned car in the deepest East side of The Badlands, which will also show a blood trail once you investigate with your scanner. Following the trail will take you through a path of corpses and burnt cars until you reach a huge wind turbine.

Zion Wylde will be waiting for you on a platform above the ground, and since he's a great sniper you will be at a severe disadvantage if you let yourself be noticed. You should either sneak up on him or use the Optical Camo Cyberware to reach his vantage point, and keep your eyes open for landmines.

Once you have disarmed them all, it should be pretty easy to successfully take him down.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: House On A Hill

This cyberpsycho can be found inside a fenced farm near Dakota Smith's location in The Badlands. You can get inside through a hole in the fence, but keep in mind that this area will also have several extra enemies such as drones and turrets, so you may struggle unless you have decent hacking skills.

Once you reach the garage, the fight against Russell Greene will begin, so keep in mind that his shotgun will hit you really hard and upgrade your Armor as much as you can before coming here.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: On Deaf Ears

You can find the cyberpsycho Cedric Muller wreaking havoc inside a car park in the Downtown area of the City Center district. This is another Cyberpsycho who packs a powerful shotgun, and he also moves very fast, but if you keep your distance, you should be fine.

Cyberpsycho Sighting: Phantom Of Night City

This Cyberpsycho is located on the West side of Corpo Plaza, City Center, in an alleyway next to a Behavioural Health building. Norio Akuhara will begin the battle using a sword until you inflict enough damage and he runs awayto the second phase of this fight, at full HP and accompanied by Tyger Claws goons that will attack you both.

Psycho Killer Rewards​​​​

Once you're done defeating and incapacitating every Cyberpsycho, Regina will call you to meet up and thank you, giving the following rewards:
